MELODIC DEATH/ PROG METAL FFO : Gojira, In Flames, Mastodon, Devin Townsend, Soilwork

Founded in 2018, SPHERES is a French Melodic Death / Progressive Metal band combining crushing riffs, melodic songwriting, progressive structures and cinematic atmospheres, with a striking contrast between clean vocals, growls and screams.

After two previous albums, SPHERES returns in 2026 with DYSON, released via Art Gates Records on October 16th. Each song explores a human being confronted with something greater than themselves, touching on technology, environmental collapse, mental illness, grief, love, inner demons and social media.

Mixed and mastered by Chris Edrich (Devin Townsend, Leprous, TesseracT), DYSON brings together the band's aggressive, melodic and cinematic sides in a production designed to translate its full impact to the stage.

SPHERES has already performed across Europe, including France, Germany, Sweden, Denmark, Belgium and Switzerland, with appearances at Malmöfestivalen and Ready For Prog, and has opened for renowned acts such as Angra, Threshold and Freak Kitchen.
